Consent to Receive Unencrypted SMS (Text) Messages Containing Your Health Information

People.Health provides communication tools to public health and healthcare organizations. By providing your mobile phone number, you agree and consent to receive text (SMS) messages from People.Health that may contain personal health information (PHI). SMS messages are not encrypted and may be intercepted or read by others.

Your consent is voluntary, and you may opt out at any time.

To revoke your consent for receiving messages that contain your PHI, contact us at support@people.health.

To stop receiving all SMS messages from a given organization, reply STOP to any SMS message from that organization.

By taking no action, you acknowledge that you understand the risks and still choose to receive SMS messages containing PHI from People.Health.

Note: In special cases, public health organizations may send SMS messages containing PHI. Learn more about public health exceptions here.
